my wife calling her neighbor some how got into 911 twice and hung up. she is not well and i had the phone with large numbers to answer if i called when i went out shopping or to call in emergency. I thought she understood and never experienced a problem. The following morning i got a call the cop making sure everything was ok. curious why i would get a message checking if everything ok. i tracked him down and found out he responded to unanswered 911 call. If you call twice and hang up a cop is dispatched to the home. she was strong enough to come to the door as he was about to break it down. He said he would have had to enter the house based on no response. I took the phone away from her bed and stopped the quick trips to the grocery store. I guess not so quick since i never knew a cop came bye or she got up out of bed that evening.
