It has got a very long way to go as even a casual observation around the world would show. <MQ does not think that mission is over yet... > As you can see from the trouble I have getting Jay Chen to get off his lazy bum and phone Hu Jintao to get 450MHz CDMA/OFDM wireless cyberspace going, it's hard work to get the local yokels to do things. Reasearch: "How about the people here report on their local malls from time to the time over the next month?" in Mish's thread we are trying to gauge consumer behavior... So you may report on your area, please. And don't have to do anything. No shopping malls in Iran, thinking better they don't even have a Xmas! Can do Dubai though.

Quite right: <MQ does not think that mission is over yet...> I am making good progress bringing civilisation to the heathens. You are of course resistant to civilisation, but I persevere. I'm not religious, but it's not far from a theological calling. That lazy layabout Jay Chen is a typical native = hard to get them moving instead of lying about on a beach, sipping fruit drinks, and chasing the girls. Even with swanky cyberphones on offer, he remains indisposed. Noblesse oblige, Mqurice PS: I have some sympathy with the beach/drink/fun approach. Even Mq the Amazing has been known to be indolent.
