I'm agnostic. I don't think people need rules from God to be outstanding human beings. I believe that right and wrong, moral and immoral, etc... are generally INTRINSIC and not subjective the way American popular culture has been moving the country in recent decades. The problem is that some issues are so complex we all haven't figured them out yet (but we will eventually). IMO, the best way to figure them out is to look at the results of various behaviors, lifestyles, life choices, actions etc... It gets a lot clearer most of the time. If there is a God and HE returns, I don't think socialism or capitalism will be relevant. But if HE does return and "we" are put in charge of providing for ourselves, HE will set up capitalism, eliminate the Fed, IMF etc..., many government programs, and give some heavenly incentives for the best performers to be very generous towards the poor and needy in a private way. ;-)

Nobody is number one in the BCS this week. <G> There are two undefeated teams, Hawaii and Kansas. Kansas plays Missouri today, and the winner of that game will probably lose to Oklahoma in The Big 12 Championship game. Hawaii is less likely to lose to Washington, but the Huskies can play tough. In any case, these schools have good but not great teams. Weak schedules have made them contenders. Who are the best teams? It depends on who shows up that day. All of the candidates have looked like schmos at least some of the time. LSU had a very tough schedule and two overtime losses. Still, Kentucky and Arkansas are teams they should have beaten fairly easily. Ohio State lost at home to Illinois, but the Illini are loaded with talent that had not come together until that game. Still, not much of a schedule. West Virginia has played a poor schedule. USC has the best players, but losing to two of the weakest Pac 10 teams makes them more suspicious than LSU. So, since nobody stands out, let's go back to where it all started. Rutgers vs. Princeton for the national championship. <G>
