“What were they smoking?” asks the cover of the current issue of Fortune magazine. Underneath the headline are photos of recently deposed Wall Street titans, captioned with the staggering sums they managed to lose.

What's utterly amazing about these so called WS titans is that it took their board of directors forever to get rid of them. Both MER and C did not get rid of their CEOs until the past two weeks after months of others calling for their heads. And then they left with huge sums of money.....I think the Citi CEO got $147 million for his 'resignation'. Its insane......the guy was incompentent, saddles his employer with bad debt and then gets paid big bucks for it. Who said the American culture is not in decline?
