Sorry, Dick....I saw your post....had been in and out at the time...meant to get back to it, but slipped my mind...Apologies...sigh..

Dick, classic TA says that a triangle breakout will travel as far up as the width of the triangle at its widest point.. On that chart, the widest point was 42.60 points....While some would simply take that number as the projected advance, I like to use log charts and geometric measures...so I focussed on the %age increase...which was an increase of 82.08% from the low to the high of the widest point in that triangle...Adding 82.08% to the 85.75 breakout price gave me the 156.13 measured target..

You realize, of course, that that chart is an old one...before the 3 to 1 split...and is now of historical interest only..
