Yes, these are some basic economics that oil companies run when deciding how best to get oil from "rock to market".

You have touched on a most basic issue that the Alberta government does not seem to get.
Their revised royalty scheme may turn out to be the right thing to do for oil but it is extremely damaging for Alberta deep natural gas production.

Oil is once again flirting with $100 despite the alleged increase in OPEC shipped oil.
