Right. I don't thing the bloodletting in the stock market CAN
happen slowly, kind of like the bloodletting in subprime could
not happen slowly, and it really didn't happen slowly - those
bonds went straight to zero. 10% correction is close to where
the chain reaction of de-leveraging, LTCM style, could be
ignited. VIX=120 then, and a BK. We are very close if it
happens this time. Of course, nobody knows. In my view, the
PPT support has been going on since the bottom in 2002 through
LTCM mechanism. It's really getting very old and extreme, and
is about to fail.
