Just out of curiosity, I wonder what liability a customer might have for employing a contractor who hires illegals?

Such as a landscaping service or homebuilder, for example. The customer should know full well that the people mowing his yard or building his new home addition are of foreign decent. I know the employer of these people is subject to the laws, but how about the customer?
