Germany only has a test site, a connection downtown <--> Munich Airport in discussion right now - with all the libs against it and even going to court to block it.


I don't know about a court case but the German feds approved it in September.

There was one planned between Berlin and Hamburg but it got the axe due to cost. I think they need to start introducing more light weight composite materials in the trains that run on the maglev track. That would help bring costs down.
