That is the issue that Bernanke is talking about. And that is an issue a realist is going to take into consideration. It has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative, just someone who is more concerned with results than theories.

But then many people who push for tax cuts are not so much worried about what the realist considers important but rather their own bottom line.

You bet, that happened when Clinton lifted the lid on the tax free home deduction and caused the home prices to hit the sky.
