zeus,

That was a very good article. It was so good that I'm going to pass it on to another group that I post to all the time. Most of the participants there are in denial about the management of a company we are all heavily invested in. I was one of the few people that long thought they were overrated, overhyped, and often skating on very thin ice when it came to truthfulness. Most of the rest of the people there have been blinded by their loyalty, bias, and financial interests. The truth has been coming out lately though and some people are reluctantly finally accepting the truth.

If you were suggesting that I have that problem, it's
rare. I have the opposite problem. I can be brutally honest with myself and others. That limits me because my confidence level reflects conservative estimates of reality instead of delusions of grandeur like most people. Inflated levels of confidence and delusion can actually help people achieve more sometimes. It also often puts me in the role of "outsider" among people that are so delusional they couldn't find the truth if it was staring right back at them.
