Some 4 or 5 years ago I had some guys come in and tear out my old, rotting deck and build a new one. I was amazed at the amount of cat poop under there, along with two dead birds. I had the new deck built with some vinyl lattice around the base, just to keep stray cats out. I don't dislike cats but I dislike irresponsible cat owners. Dog owners go in that same category. We rarely see dogs wandering around my town home site. Cats are a different matter. A few years ago they were so bad the city began trapping them. It cost owners $75 to retrieve the animal. We need to do that again.
