There is something really wrong in the corporate world when a leader can put the company in economic danger and still walk away with a nice retirement alotment. Think Rome....just before the fall!

Yeah, there ought to be some kind of stick as well as a carrot. Maybe you give these guys stock, but they also have to hold short calls for 10 years. So if the call were issued at a 50 strike, and 10 years down the road the stock was selling at 30, they would have to come up with $20 per share.

That might clarify the mind on a long term strategy.
