Why google? You already posted the link to the IPCC and it said (1.8-4.0°C).

God, you are a dufus. I said google because you posted this crap:

Actually, the IPCC didn't even say " the mean change is +0.4 deg C".

You did. You picked 2.0 as the IPCC midpoint estimate and divided by 5 to get 0.4.

The IPCC said 1.8-4.0. The midpoint of that range is actually 2.9 C. Thats what you s/h divided by 5 to get the 20 year estimate.

So first off, I did not take the midpoint, as you seem to have dimly figured out, yet still claim I did. I used the SLOPE of the graph for the time period in question. That is how I got 0.4 deg over the time period of 2000-2020.

So I told you to get off your damn ass and go see that the IPCC has in fact stated 0.2°C PER DECADE for the near term. Hence 0.4°C FOR TWO DECADES. The fact that their near term rate, and what I got off the slope of their graph agrees, is hardly surprising. What is surprising is your monumental stupidity.

Can you suggest how to make this clear to someone as mentally handicapped as your are?
