I guess we will see, there are so many sophisticated strategies tha use multiple legs of types of instruments to create synthetic structures. for an investment bank what about shorting a stock, sell credit default swaps on the the company, now that the prices have increased on that type of insurance,and then having out fo the money calls on the stock in case of a huge move up. There are so many variations on complex strategies it is truly amazing. The power of the microprocessing chip and real time global pricing. John
