If you think the suns going down on the american century, it is certainly not europe that will be replacing it. You folks have russia on your border. Do you trust putin? Do you trust the US to protect you forever. Soft dollar is payment for protection. The US is like the mob. If you dont want islamos or ruskys forcing themselves on you, you pay off Don Busheroni. IF you want to be independent of the US, build an army that can protect yourselves. Did you ever take into account that the US military defends the free world and since you folks wont pay taxes here, we find another way to charge you. This is not an argument for iraq or an excuse for Flubadub in the WH, its just a fact of life.

Here is an off the wall solution to the middle east crisis. It should be interesting to see if both nadine and chrissy poo allie against it. Israel should accept 67 borders with mutually agreeable adjustments. EJ should be returned as well as capital of new pal state which at its inception should include just the west bank. Other areas can join if they wish. Perhaps even jordan or parts of it might one day be a part of this state. For this israel gets recognition from every arab state and universal renoucement of terror by arabs and muslims. Israel also gets Commonwealth status of the US and an attack on israel will forever be deemed as an attack on the USA. Far out, i know. Who wants to take the first shot? My reluctance comes from getting US into foreign wars but that is offset by knowledge that the whole world knows that a shot fired at israel violating treaties will be considered attack on US. It just might clear things up and thus give the pals a chance to prosper. Also no right of return to israel proper--end of story... Its a non starter.
