I never thought much of Lott, to me he was the Republicans answer to Biden. But, I am sorry to see ANOTHER Republican resign from the Senate. I guess they are throwing in the towel and dont want to be a party to the mess the Democratic Senate will make of our nation. jdn ____________________- If true, it is the worst possible excuse for resigning. The Republicans had control of everything. They could have set the Country on a course of fiscal responsibility and common sense values. They squandered it completely. Completely! I would find it pretty disingenuous if their exit line is: "Well, having done such a great job, we don't want to stay around to watch the other guys do worse".
