Makes perfect sense for anything up to a two year maturity. Beyond that, it is speculative. Beyond five years out it starts to get recklessly cautious.

The old fabled "Bond vigilantes" have been co-opted by something dark and sinister.....the new "bond vigilantes" seem to have switched to crude oil instead of US T-Bonds.

Mish, bond vigilantes are long gone. You of all people should know that! What we see now is scaredy-cats rushing to "quality", resulting in rising bond prices.
