Could it be Yamana, they have claims in Argentina, bought Meridian ... i've rarely been attracted to anything there, prefer the west coast of the Americas generally, venture halfway into the interior occasionally

Wasn't shopping for equipment, and never have for new iron, never felt the need for intense pressure, no it just came up in conversation with a guy who had been interested enough to ask the prices, for a laugh ... and yes, there are going to be some bargoons around, once they've cleaned up what bugkill they can ... Ritchie Bros always gets theirs in the end ... about twenty years ago, little more maybe, i met a guy who bought one of the first good feller bunchers, took it up there at freezeup and worked it 24/7 till breakup, five and a half months, with only one operator other than himself, each worked twelve till twelve, they only shut it down to change oil ... lights all over the thing, incredibly expensive at the time, over a quarter million all-up ... he had it more than paid off at Easter, when we were talking, figured on another month or more maybe, pure profit ... i always wondered what became of him, he was pretty tightly wound

The higher the skill, the tighter the market for warm bodies, no doubt ... for years there was no work for geos and engineers in the industry, or real crap work at low wages ... feast or famine, that's always been the story of resources
