>The surest way to destroy the country, without invasion, without war, is to destroy its currency.<

Dat's da fact.

The boys in Washington who gave you a useless 2 trillion dollar war and several trillion in targeted tax cuts deserve to take a bow when the curtain call comes.

Hmm Mike, but what to name this new Dollar? Perhaps the "Bendover", as that's what the world has done in accepting the previous dollar. But that would probably be a painful reminder, and not likely to inspire confidence.

How 'bout the "Goldman"? To the unsuspecting, it sort of sounds like "Gold" - you know, honest money. But to the initiated, well we know it's really paying homage to the Lords of the Universe.

And then on the Goldman, it could say "In Goldman we Trust". I think that's more up-to-date that the current "In God we Trust". I mean, where does that get you these days, right?

Alas, but whose picture should we put on the Goldman? Any ideas?

Of course, I'd much prefer the "RonPaul" as the standard unit of value. But we've all seen recently what happens to anyone who tries to pull that stunt. <no grin>

;)
