Oh seriously, well that's ridiculous ... or criminal, to just make stuff up - do you think enough people believed in 140m lengths to move the stock, from the typing of idiots on stockhouse? ... i rarely go there, been to a few threads recently, never thought to check the gqc one ... but it was quite active about august or september, this worried me a bit at the time, didn't see any outright fabrications just a lot of people not knowing much about mineral plays and with vague hopes ... 'market sentiment', as you say ... i've done a little trading but am reluctant to take cap gains before year end, probably would have offed some this morning anyway if real life had left me time to pay attention [and definitely would have if aware of your theory above]

Goldquest has a lot more than one great property, the big deal i was in for originally was the properties under JV with Gold Fields, they hold shares in gqc [along with Barrick] and have been cooperating all the way through ... over five years now gqc has been plugging away in the DR, done all sorts of groundwork to build the portfolio they now hold ... i was in early, so it's all gains now, but they're good people, and deserve a lot better than to be used as a vehicle for sleazy little crims on stockhouse

Some threads over there are not like that at all ... mlm.v for instance, had several posters who know their stuff thoroughly and would blow right out of the water any greaseballs like that showing up ... fwr.v was another, months ago ... read some of the ccu.to thread recently, it was mixed, some useful info ... but so much there is such crap, and the pages load so slow, that mostly it's not worth the time
