Here's what bothers me

There are going to be people that are going to mention he was in trouble a lot and that will detract from the tragedy of his death. I think thats really NOT COOL. I've watched a similar thing happen with accidents and booze. A report will come out that someone died in a car accident and then in the same report they'll mention the person was drunk. Many people will then sit back and say oh...yeah I see. In a small way it discounts the tragedy because people make a judgment about an alcohol related death as if the person deserved to die for driving while intoxicated. How many of us have done the same thing? Did we deserve to die? I've never had a DWI but I've deserved MANY! Most people I know in Wisconsin (more than 50% of my friends) got a DWI when they were younger. That doesn't make them bad people and I don't judge them for it. All it means is they made a bad choice. If we all had to disclose the worst thing we've ever done in our life for public consumption I don't think people would talk to each other because the judgment would be very harsh. People make bad decisions and choices but that doesn't always make them bad people. Now, if I walk into Hardee's and mow down everyone in the store - I'm a bad person and thats worthy of being labeled so. Anyhow - Regardless of what people think I REALLY believe in my heart that I'm right with this POV

That is what I'm reading also. Had really grown up. This break in thing with the knife left on his bed is interesting. Not sure I wouldn't have taken more security precautions after that episode.
