Easier said than done. Absolutely, you are not going to erase scares of 6 decades of oppression overnight. Do you think there are any in hizbo or hamas that want this deal to work? Hizbo has nothing to do with the Palestinians, thus hizbo doesn't count. OTH Hamas is a major player and should be included. Shutting out Hamas from the peace process is a mistake. Hamas represent 1.2 million Palestinians. For the peace process to work, all Palestinians should be included. IMO, this the reason why you do not loud objections from Nadine et al, know very well it will not work without the inclusion of all Palestinians. We know bin laden will reject any deal that involves survival of israel. Iran says much the same thing. Who cares what they think? As long as the Palestinians and the Israelis work it out fairly and peacefully. Can hamas and hizbo change?? Whenever i am arguing with nadine, this is the one question of hers that i have no answer for. I would ask her if she can change. Its too simple to say that this happened in NI. Terror was used by IRA but never to the extent it was in the mideast and beyond mideast borders. Look again at the IRA bombing in England. And it was never directed against civilians which seems to be the palestinan MO. Again, I would ask you to look at the IRA history. Many civilian have been killed on the hands of the IRA. which seems to be the palestinan MO I would rephrase that statement to include the Israelis too.
