Why is it the Reagan supporters are the only ones talking about him being a racist?

Because their not the only ones. And they aren't initiating the issue but rather responding to non-supporters of Reagan who accuse him of either being a racist or of relying on racists and being unconcerned about racism.

For me, any discussion re. Reagan and racism is in response to the right's belief that Reagan was a great president. Reagan may not have been a racist but he used race to his advantage esp. by making inferences to whites in this country. I hardly think that is a sign of greatness......and that's not the only place where Reagan's behavior was questionable.

Like who?

"or of relying on racists and being unconcerned about racism."

Well, the facts do support this. So it is hardly an accusation.
