"America is for sale..." Expect to see a whole lot more of that in coming times --- the bargain basement doors are flung open now. Because of our run-away federal spending, (just calling so-much of it 'emergency' and 'off-budget' spending doesn't make it any less real... all that is is a thin transparency designed to hide the true extent of the problem from the awareness of the public), and the requirement to borrow more and more from foreigners... what many on these threads have worried about for some time now is just beginning to actualize. Uncle Sam is over a barrel. (Hell... we may not even be able to borrow the extra Trillion of so projected for Iraq and other Middle East in the coming years [or the required Medicare/F.I.C.A. generational monies that have been swiped already, and will now need to be replaced] --- except at ruinous interest rates that will kill the economy.)
