"Everyone knows" that "the cover-up is ALWAYS worse"... the crimes of the cover-up were where CONVICTIONS were secured. (As far as the 'outing charge' --- no one has EVER been convicted under that provision. This case probably came the CLOSEST of any since the law was enacted --- missed the five year undercover overseas requirement by just a few months. Missed it by 'that much'. :-) They actually had to DO THE INVESTIGATION before they could know that.... <G> (And --- according to the official report of the Special Prosecutor delivered to Congress, were it not for active 'obstructionism' from the administration, he believed that he could have secured convictions of other folks as well... no way to know for sure, of course.) Re: "...because Pflame had not been undercover for less than 5 years." Yes, I know. I've only posted that piece of information on this thread about a half dozen times over the past two or three days.... :-)
