thats probably not true. Its not islamist extremism--its the underclass and just as in the US racial prejudice has much to do with it. What you need is a no nonsense approach to violence and robust capitalism. Socialism does not automatically route out prejudice. What it does is create welfare and dependency and that in turn causes backlash. But make no mistake about it, the French are racist in their attitudes toward immigrants, especially those from north africa. Capitalism is better at fixing this because the only color recogized there is green. Instead of putting Bernie Kerick in jail here, he should be sent to Paris to help fix things. Same for a few supply siders but please dont send sharpton to paris.
