from these levels euro will fall more than dollar and thus dollar will rise. Decoupling now would be akin to selling at the bottom. I think thats what the dubai buy of Citi stock is saying. Time to pick up US assets at bargain prices. Downside risk is 10% tops on the dollar. Upside is when it gets back to par with the euro in 3-5 years per barrons. Europe has a demographic lid on growth that the US doesnt have at least to the same degree. We have two plus kids per family and you guys have 1/2 a kid. Your population is aging much faster and the old in europe have far more entitlements. Your immigrants are troublemakers and your philosophy though socialist is more racist than that of the US. US should open up the floodgates to tech savvy immigrants. They will come here in droves.
PS how is immigrant situation in italy. When i use the R word i am talking france and germany/turks. Italy may not need immigrants as much.
