I warned Repubs. Rudy has toxic baggage in his closet. Let's also not forget he went to the mat for Kerik to become our nation's #1 law enforcement officer. Kerik is now under indictment for mob connections and corruption. How might that have hurt our national security if Rudy had gotten his way? I also am surprised no one has brought up Rudy's lobbying for CITGO which is Venezuela's national oil company which is controlled by Hugo Chavez. Then again, if Bush can ignore pre- 9-11 warnings and be called a "hero" after 9-11, anything is possible. Maybe Rudy will just repeat "I made mistakes but forgive me" and the GOP will stand by him. However even if they do, he's toast in a general election. Just playing the footage of Rudy in drag over and over would defeat him. Might get the Log Cabin Repubs excited though/
