There was consequence of the outbreak of violence since the tourism industry suffered. Money punishment forced the Australian to put in force some more civilized actions to bring back tourism money. The un-civilization leaves inside the woodwork. Pretending that it doesn’t exist, repressed, until springs out into action. It also lives inside people's mind just there waiting to come out. Note how Stan Shaw and Daniel Pearl were treated by Islamic mobs - to save you asking Google, their heads were removed from their bodies while they were still alive. In Oz, there was no 40 lashes for making comments about few clothes on women. There were no decapitations on the side of the road, shown on video.
