Luck,you make your own.
I have always belived say yea to every opportunity, and see where it takes you. If you say no at the beginning, you will never again be offered future opportunities as those people will never offer you anything again.
I have been extremely blessed in life though i credit it to always saying yes to opportunities to see where it leads.

seminole, you were lucky not to have been in darfur on the end with the fewest weapons.

what "process" caused you to be born where where you were born instead of in darfur to an unarmed village?

or in north korea.

or in iran.

or in soviet russia.

or in mainland china as a peasant.

what special "skill" do you have that landed your consciousness in 20th century america?

i have *never* said hard work isn't important. it is crucial.

but hard work will not lead to wealth unless one is first very fortunate.

i think you can determine what luck and good fortune means from the concepts put forth - but only if you want to.

if you prefer to go with the "i'm rich b/c i'm better than others" theme, i will not be able to talk you out of it.
