Jabiru Metals Limited (Jabiru) is pleased to advise that the second shipment of zinc has left from Oxiana Ltd's facility in Geraldton (WA). Approximately 5,300 tonnes (wet) of zinc concentrate left the port on 22 November 2007.

Jabiru has also accumulated approximately 3,000 tonne of saleable grade copper concentrate which is expected to be shipped as part of a 5,000 tonne (wet) parcel in the New Year.

Zinc and copper concentrate shipments will occur more regularly in the New Year in line with the Jaguar production ramp up, and more stoping ore becomes available from the underground mining. The process of optimising blasting and mining of the stopes is now taking place as more stoped ore is provided to the concentrator.

Jabiru is pleased with the quality of the both the zinc concentrate at approximately 46% zinc and copper concentrate at approximately 21% copper and 430g/t silver. These concentrate grades and metal recoveries should continue to improve as the ore feed moves towards more stoped ore from development ore over the next few months, allowing the continuing refinement of the Jaguar concentrator metallurgy.
