Rabin was a hero to me too. Guy who shot him was an extremist and its unfair to say nadine supported the assasination in any way. As far as not holding israels feet to the fire, sure in some cases. But you have no balance in your arguement because you will never say terrorism against civilians is beyond the pale or shooting rockets into cities should not receive a response. If you come down on the jimmy carter/zbig side of things, thats OK chris. But neither of them makes that leap in somehow excusing terrorism or denying israels right to respond to rocket attacks.

They all failed. What element is present in this one that will have it succeed? The WILL of the people. You have to realize that people like Nadine do not live there. Israeli families are breaking up because the young generation is not willing to hold the fort any longer, so that people like Nadine if felt threatened to have a safe place to go to. They feel people like Nadine are living there lives while they (Israelis) live in constant conflict with there neighbors. Those young people are opting to leave. Here is a question for Nadine et al or anybody: How many wars can Israel sustain?
