Thanks Ajtj.
I also got call from the WSJ today about the mess in florida.
globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com
Yesterday I said, "I have a prediction: The State of Florida will freeze withdrawals and come up with a hokey plan to fix things just as happened with ABCP in Canada."

It was frozen today.

I am getting calls all over the place now including one from the New York Times yesterday over rating agencies and MBIA.

I am excited about some things that will be coming up very soon in regards to blogs.

Mish

Where's the Cash?
globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com
Corporations like Ctigroup, Ambac, etc have been scrambling for cash. So where is the cash? The answer is darn near every cent has been lent out. The reserve requirement on savings accounts is zero and because of sweeps checking account reserves are minimal as well. Citigroup had to be bailed out by Abu Dhabi as cash is piling up overseas.

BTW - This is very hard to describe in a paragraph. There is a lot going on here that people do not realize.
