There is only upside then. Someone wrote that we need surprising events along the way to prove that both sides are serious. Be nice if saudi king visited jerusalem--both parts. Would also be nice if olmert was invited there too. Also nice if syria does a 180 and golan which is really a simple issue is resolved quickly. Could you imagine how crazed the iranians would be??? That will be a shot in the arm to the pal side who always seems to be left in the dust by the other arab states who do make deals.
