Rudy may not have had anything to do with slotting these particular expenses in the budgets where they ended up, but as you know, things like this can get corporate executives fired if it was not an approved method of allocation or distribution of expense. This certainly looks...."odd"....and because he was at his mistresses' condo during the times in question, the issue of cover up or hiding the matter comes into play.

If it was all on the up and up, wouldn't the expense have just been charged right to the police/security budget for the Mayor? Rudy said last night he was authorized to have 24/7 protection, so why not charge it to the budget where it belonged?

Doesn't smell right.
