I think Rudy said that he was entitled to 24/7 police protection. This may well be true. He talked about threats, some known, some not. This, too, may be true.

He did not address why the expenses were charged to, for example, the Office of People with Disabilities. Why charges for these PARTICULAR trips (and not others) were charged to agencies under the Mayor's domain rather than just to his security budget has not been answered by anyone.

Yet.

That particular determination will be up to the primary voters. :-)

(Expect to see several TV ads from his opponents about the matter though....)
