Good grief, talk about apostates. TJ converting from Aztec to US$ [okay, not strictly in that you have still got your full packet of biscuits, but certainly loading up on Big Ben's bucks].

I do agree though that the US$ seems to be beaten down more than is justified versus other things. USA exports are booming for example. Tourists can travel to the USA on the cheap.

Just dialed 1.800.GET.ME.OUT and

(1) got rid of ALL HK, Singapore, and Thailand traded shares, including big positions in Shenhua Energy, Noble Group and Samui Airport Properties, as well as the hotsie totsies and the railroad real estate plays. None of it matters. The HKD remains in HKD, and SGD and Thai Baht got converted to USD;

(2) Converted all CHF (swiss paper money) to USD;

(3) some Japanese Yen to USD; and

(4) feeling good.

Just curious, is there a freshly opened human size pod near your house..? Someone slip something interesting into your drink...? :)

Why the change...?
