That statement is almost as comforting as Sinclair's "This is it!"

How about some of the more astute in the credit markets and the economy give us an idea as to what we can expect? Are we going to see a Banana Republic" where money has no real value? If so, what good will gold or silver do us if we have no monetary way to use it? We can't sell it for a worthless dollar nor use it to buy gas or groceries so what takes it's place?

Vi, will you or anyone else familiar with all of this give us a run down on what a bankrupt nation will look like?
