Yes, many people are quite tired of BOTH Parties campaigning on the pledge of smaller government, respect for citizen's liberty... and then consistently delivering the exact opposite, time and time again. Well --- if the OTHER policies are not working (I'm referring to the road we are on currently: Trillions of deficit-spending locked in on the glide path we are on, hundreds of Billions 'defending' corrupt Autocrats who claim to be our allies but actually are not, & minimal net-positive results visible for all that) then perhaps it's only prudent to consider all alternatives.... "...he says no war was ever declared, but he's wrong, they have declared war, he should listen to their chants..." You seem confused on this point. He is saying that no war has been declared BY THE US CONGRESS. The US Congress has been SHIRKING it's Constitutionally mandated DUTY. That is what he is referring to: de jure, not de facto war. "...if bombing our Marine barracks...." (Which --- as I recall, happened after we had shelled Shiite communities in the hills around the Lebanese capital city with 16 inch shells, thus rather dramatically 'inserting' ourselves into the Lebanese civil war that was raging at the time... and which then triggered Ronald Reagan to re access our involvement there... and then to withdraw....) "... isn't enough to get the message that a war has been declared," Like I said: he is talking about the US Constitution. and, by the way, I believe makes an excellent point that only when we formally and properly declare war does the American PUBLIC get fully behind the war effort! (Not an unimportant point to keep in mind if you want to win!) ------------------------------------------------------- PS --- what did you think about the observer reports (and YouTube videos :-) of the Romney forces stuffing the ballot boxes - having their few supporters vote MULTIPLE TIMES - in Florida?
