Hi Elmat;
It has always seemed like a good idea to sell US and buy SA land when one considers the price differential. The water info you provide is another added bonus.

The barriers to most Americans are:

1. Language/laws

2. Political stability/ currency.

For you they are not barriers and so it is obviously something for you to consider.
