Would it be better if the Fed did absolutely nothing: maybe even raised rates to combat inflation, all of which resulting in a total economic and financial meltdown,(including Gold) ? Also, an election year coming up. This republican horror show wants to extend its stage life and doesn't want a recession. That's why the first(and better) Bush lost the 1992 election.
