So I was right and he was wrong. Cool!

I'll see what I can do about replacement. The batteries got drained down as a result of warranty-issue problems with the rig.

And when the rig is sitting idle without being plugged in or anything, the house batteries go dead enough to trigger warnings (~7v) in 2 days or less. With 4 large 6-volt batteries, I'd really expect that parasitic loads can't drain them that fast, though the guy at the dealership is trying to tell me they can.

I think either there's something drawing current that shouldn't (the display shows 3 amps of draw at 12 volts when the rig is idle) or the batteries aren't up to snuff anymore. I strong suspect the latter.
