it had little to NOTHING to do with the big matters that they were attempting to discuss in an article about the Dollars fall, the impact upon the entire world, and the possibility of serious economic dislocations down the road, as a result of miscalculations or panic.

Apparently you seemed to notice that, according to this article, the falling dollar is a benefit to the US and bad for the rest of the world. Never mind that it falls because they buy less US goods and sell us more of theirs.

(However... I see you skipped right over the forest to focus on a few scraggly trees. Well done, Hugh! :-)

Do you call the forest the world and the US is a few scraggly trees? Its the US against the world. This is so obviously a hit piece to make the falling dollar the US against the world. Of course it was the same thing in the 50's when the dollar was rising. They fail to understand that if their world is to come up to our standards our dollar will weaken as their currency rises in value.
