Bob, it sounds like you should be in the market for a master switch, on your battery cable, to stop phantom loads drawing your batteries down....if phantom load problem can not be sorted out.

I have them on all my old tractors and cars...i am in the habit now of throwing the master switch when i walk away...the whole system is dead...also eliminating a possible electrical fire, and battery is, as you left it, on return.. charged.<g>
