'you can bet they're going to pass along the costs'

it would be nice if writer put some financial numbers to pass along the costs.. for example.. take total housing over the next five years.. how much would be added to each house sale in closing expenses? It's still a free a market and you shop around and check rates and closing costs.

Housing will return to the mean but the mean if put off five years from now could be a lot higher than today. You have to assume demand returns, populations continues to grow.

Again nice words of regard but no numbers put his article to let readers determine if factual statements or emotional statements.

Interesting the amount of wailing over a half baked treasury scheme that might have some marginal benefit for America, at least the added taxpayer burden would be used domestically.

Meanwhile the acquiescence to an illegitimate, nonsensical, tragic war that in addition to soon killing 4,000 American GI's and costing an ongoing amount to the taxpayers that renders the Paulson boondoggle paltry continues more or less unabated.

Perhaps if the pundits could straighten out their priorities as to where the real damage to the American taxpayers is occurring, they might get some traction.....maybe not....
