It was just a "metaphor"... lol !

Actually, the (possible) nascent trend is the Canadian dollar.... It has been falling daily for almost two weeks, making US stocks more expensive for Canadians .. It is true that US stocks have been week despite the weakness of their yardstick, the US$.

The fact that the index has strengthened indicates that there must be individually strong stocks .

Please don't shoot the messenger... as/if the Canadian dollar continues to fall US stocks will become more expensive for Canadians.... i.e. the Canadian price will go UP.
