Governments not regulating isn't "government supporting business", whether or not its a good idea in any particular case.

Of course it is.....its being gov't friendly. Gov'ts are in place to protect the common good......esp. the consumer.

Whether they were legal or not is not the issue here.

If they are legal, than what would the government do? Whether they where legal or not is very much the issue if your expecting investigations and possible punishments.


Close the loophole.....the real estate industry is very unregulated by the feds....instead they rely on the states and self regulation to do the job. Under Bush, that all changed. Its time to close any loopholes and look at regulating the industry more closely. Here anything of the sort from the Bush administration? Of course not.
