Excuse me, but isn't this usually called "evolution"?

Especially as the dire result being cited is that the squirrels are breeding earlier because there is more food. Which is what happens when the climate gets warmer in most times and places, esp. if you have higher levels of CO2, which is plant food.

How all of this is being spun as a coming disaster is an exercise in purest propaganda. Did you notice how Hurricaine Katrina was blamed on global warming all over the place in 2005? We just had the quietest hurricaine year in a generation, but naturally that has nothing to do with global warming. Only bad things count.
