Sometimes athletes "suck it up" during adversity and their game elevates to a higher level. That may happen with Washington on Thursday. If the Bears lose to the Giants this afternoon, that will probably knock them out of the wild card (though you never know), which is not going to help their motivation.

I think it's going to be tough for them from here on out. This isn't something everyone just gets over and decides to move on. Not only emotionally but you lost one of your leaders and stars on defense. That isn't something you just replace. Sad deal.

Personally if I were the Bills I would have taken a knee on that first play rather then running a play designed to take advantage of the hole in the D. But that is just me and I guess this is a business and the business is winning.
